Overview

Practical Intelligence provides custom workflow automation and QuickBooks integration services for small businesses. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain terms, how we handle information when we provide those services.

QuickBooks Authorization

Our QuickBooks integration only accesses a QuickBooks company after an authorized user connects that company through Intuit's authorization process. Access is limited to what is needed to provide the integration and related workflow automation.

Users can revoke QuickBooks access through Intuit or QuickBooks. After access is revoked, the integration will no longer be able to access that QuickBooks company unless it is authorized again.

Information We May Access

Depending on the workflow, the integration may access QuickBooks company information, customers, items and services, invoices, and related accounting records. We use this information to help create review-ready invoice drafts and support related workflow automation.

How We Use Information

We use customer and QuickBooks data to provide the requested services, prepare invoice drafts, troubleshoot issues, improve the specific workflow we are building or supporting, and communicate with the customer about the work.

We do not automatically send invoices. Users remain responsible for reviewing and approving invoices and other QuickBooks transactions before sending, submitting, or relying on them.

Data Sharing

We do not sell customer data. We may share information only as needed to provide the requested service, comply with legal obligations, protect our rights, or work with service providers that help operate the integration or supporting workflow.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect customer information, access tokens, and secrets used for authorized integrations. No method of storage or transmission is perfect, but we work to limit access to sensitive credentials and use them only for the authorized purpose.
